Watch the recording of our community session marking thirty years since the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin. We hosted Barak Sella, editor of The Class of 95, for a conversation about memory, identity, and responsibility. Together we examined whether this day will still be commemorated a century from now, what story might endure, and what we must do today to shape that future memory. We also discussed how diverse communities grapple with a day that still provokes disagreement, and how art can open space for honest reflection on the past while imagining a different future.

Who We Are
The Brooklyn Mishlachat (delegation) is a group of Jewish Agency for Israel’s Shlichim (emissaries), working with the wide Jewish community around Brooklyn, from early childhood to seniors, across all denominations in the borough.
Our mission is to strengthen the bond between theBrooklyn Jewish community to Israel and building strong human relationships.
Our Mishlachat is comprised of one senior Shlicha (the head of the delegation) and three Shinshinim (gap year emissaries).

The Jewish Agency provides the global framework for Aliyah, ensure global Jewish safety, strengthens Jewish identity and connects Jews to Israel and one another, and conveys the voice of Jewish people to the State of Israel to help shape its society.
