Yaya Fink, a social and political entrepreneur fighting to ensure Israel remains liberal and democratic, was named one of The Marker magazine's People of the Year in September 2024. In the past, he worked as the chief of staff for Shelly Yachimovich, Chair of the Labor Party, and founded and managed various organizations dedicated to promoting social justice and liberal Judaism.

Fink was a key leader in the protest against the judicial reform in 2023 and has spearheaded significant crowdfunding projects over the years to assist, among others, Palestinian and Israeli Arab families affected by acts of terrorism. Additionally, Fink is a reserve IDF major who has completed over 200 reserve duty days since October 7, 2023. He is also currently a prominent advocate for the campaign promoting equal service obligations in Israel.
